The Grocer - British Butler Article.

British Butler is filling Cadbury's shoes with regard to British made chocolate bars. With Cadbury being snapped up by Kraft, the closure of the Somerdale factory in the South West has left a gulf in UK chocolate production.

Ex-pat Cadbury fans have taken to the new brand, and while distribution is initially overseas British Butler has not ruled out an assault on the UK market.

Director Peter Howarth says:

"British Butler is giving the region a huge boost in terms of UK chocolate manufacturing. We are very proud of the high standard of food manufacturing in the UK, and any parallel that might be drawn with Cadbury's excellent products is fantastic for us. We aim to continue the tradition of chocolate making excellence in the UK."
